Why are boys "different" from girls.

I was just thinking of how I was brought up by my parents. As a young girl, I think my dad was kind of wishing his second child was a boy. He would give me lesons on the kinds of screws and other tools on the hardware stores.

Also, speaking of wounds, I was and still am the boyish type. I loved rbiking, rollerblading, playing tag outdoors. And I was and still am a clumsy girl. I hid all the wounds that I got from all those hardcore outdoor activities from my parents. I mean what kid wasn't scared of pouring alcohol on their wounds? Hence my many wounds from my childhood. Even when I was a teen, from all those sneaking out, a.k.a going "overdabakod" so the gate won't squeak.And over the years of growing from my wild child years and now unto the nerdy me, I am so proud to say that I now get my wounds from climbing our ceilling high bookshelf at home.

I was never brought up by my parents or prep me for beauty pageants. And you know what, I still wear knee-showing clothes, mini skirts, shorts, short dresses. I could care less that I don't have the perfect flawless legs. And that got me thinking of why boys and girls are brought up differently. My dad used to tell me to keep my complexion fair, dress girly, act all finesse. But the more you control on how a teenager should act or look, they would rebel against everything. *raise my hand* I was that teenager. I loved getting a tan, dressed rugged, and acted..well boyish, not the typical girly type. I still am.

Now that I have a nephew around, I will witness on how boys are brought up since I was not really around when my little brother was growing up. And actually, my brother is not the typical boyish type. He has a sensitive side and he is not that sporty.

Can boys do the hulahoop?

Can boys play teacher-teacher, doctor-doctor, luto-lutuan?

Just curious.

It was crazy.

Random Update on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, DISAPPOINTING!!! Sometimes, when in the middle of browsing the web, the back light would flicker. And just today I encountered a "camera failed" error. And grey block photos. :( terrible. I mean yeah, I have a 2 year warranty but to experience these errors so early, I just had this for a month. :( Saddity sad. I guess iOS/Apple is still the best. I'm no gadget expert...but that's how I see it.

Random AGAIN: I colored my hair again. :( :| :\ I made a promise to grow back unto my natural hair color which is black, but I'm just addicted to coloring my hair!!!! It's like the same thing with tattoo for others, it gets addicting. It's amazing, I had this caramel-like with a little hint of blond on the tips of my hair for almost 2 years now, and now my new hair color is called COFFEE. Kind of darker.

Will update again after my my tab's check-up at the store. Maybe there's hope that I'd still like Android and Samsung gadgets...

I've recently deleted all my social networking accounts, multiply, plurk (my guilty pleasure coz I know no one reads em), and facebook. And I feel great! Well I have a new account in facebook coz you can't NOT have an account to be able to maintain a facebook Page. But I'll only log in to facebook just for my Page, my business page.

I realized that I'm sometimes a hypocrite, ranting on things I hate that people post on facebook that I sometimes do too. So instead of doing one-liner statuses, I'd rather blog and exercise my writing. I want to relive my blogging days. I hate that bloggers nowadays treat their blog like it's lookbook or instagram.

Anyway, still doing the business at home. I have had my ups and downs with it but I still believe in it and will wait for a big break! Good news is I have new colors of hoodies from my supplier. So that brings new customers and more sales! YAY! The first few months I had my ups with the biz, I was having a hard time budgeting my 'sweldo'. But when I experienced not so good biz, I came up with a system that is called 'the 6-months emergency kit' HAHAHA. And I need that kit when I finally have to start with THE PLAN.

NOT TECHIE. I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7' for my birthday! YAY?... wasn't really excited. I'm so against gadgets actually. I gave away my mp3, my ipod.. got rid of my nokia e63 for nokia x2. Then sold the x2 for a cherry mobile phone. Hahaha! All I need is a netbook, external dvd drive, and a cell that could call and message. But now I have a tablet. I'm torn with my netbook and the tablet. Which tasks to do where,??? It's almost the same. :(

And I'm such a martian!!! What the hell is an Ice Cream Sandwich blah blah, and what I find weird on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is the multiple home screen split screens, eh tapos meron pang icon to display apps. Basta hindi ko ma-explain! So I'll just use it to check emails, read ebooks, watch movies on long car rides. ANd it sucks that Tap Tap Revenge 4 has some bugs on Galaxy Tab 2. SUCKS!!!!! Eh yun lang ang gusto kong game sa tabs. I don't like 'games', like Angry Birds or City Story, or Bad Piggies. So, I think I should pro'lly sell my netbook. Might solve my insomnia!!! coz right now I'm on my netbook surfing the internet when I could as well do that on the tablet. And it'll be rude to return or sell this tab that I got as a birthday present. I'll try and make the most of this tablet. It's HD 1080p so really perfect for the movies from my dad's collection that cannot be played on a netbook.

So eto na nga, sabi nga ni Sotto malay ba niyang may ganung speech si Kennedy. Sabi rin niya, may nagtext lang sa kanya ng english nun, ka-galing naman nung nagtext nun...SIYA DIN DAPAT AKUSAHAN NG PLAGIARISM. KASI DAHIL SA KANYA, ng hindi niya paglagay ng "-kennedy's speech" sa dulo ng tinext niya kay Sotto, eh ayan tuloy muntangga si Sotto na INANGKIN DIN ANG TEXT NG "FRIEND" NIYA. Wala talagang alam kung ano ang pagnanakaw ng idea. Hindi niya iqquote yung nagtext sa kanya nun KASI TEXT-er LANG SIYA. HAHAHHA Tulad ng tingin niya sa mga bloggers na, "bakit ko iqquote ang blogger, blogger lang siya"

DIba sinong writer/blogger na naghirap isulat ang mga naisip niya ang hindi magagalit na aangkinin ng iba yung sinabi niya sa blog niya. Kung minsan yes bloggers/writers do research PARA LANG GAMITING INSPIRATION ang ideas. BUT THOSE WRITERS/BLOGGERS HAS THE DECENCY na isalin ang idea ng ibang tao SA SARILI NILANG SALITA.SA SARILI NILANG UNDESTRANDING.

Gets kaya ito ni Sotto??? Gets din ba ng mga nagbubulag-bulagan, na keso sagutin na lang daw ang mga arguments ni Sotto laban sa RH Bill. Nililihis daw ng issueng PLAGIARISM para hindi pansinin/pakinggan ang anti-RH. Pero nakakatawa na kasi yung kampo ni Sotto.

Ganito kasi dapat ang sinabi ni Sotto noong NINAKAW NIYA SA FRIEND/TEXTER NIYA YUNG speech na YUN PALA AY KAY KENNEDY.

I'm sorry for the term, but ang kitid ng utak ng dating EVERY OPENING when a certain establishment/brand makes a commercial of THE RIVAL SCHOOLS. Last time I watched live, an Ateneo-Lasalle basketball game, FORD car was flown around the Araneta Coliseum. OK...?! And today, a known restaurant commercial was aired featuring ADMU-DLSU rivalry. MALAKING WHATEVER!

I was expecting, they'd have another version of the commercial about another UAAP teams rivalry, but that didn't happen.

I know! The two teams have a long loong loong years of rivalry. I've been a huge fan! But at some point, the rivalry died. Especially when both teams lost their big guns. It died.

For me, the rivalry is dead already. I see UST-ADMU as a rivalry. Even ADMU-FEU. I love Lasalle, believe me! I know Lasalle basketball like a Lasalle Historian. Hahahahaha I was such a huge fan of Lasalle Basketball under Pumaren's rein. I CRUSH MIKE CORTEZ! I have yet to find Lasalle a good rivalry, a new one. Enough with Ateneo-Lasalle rivalry already. It died.

And UAAP is not just basketball. That's the cry of every athlete from different UAAP events (football, volleyball, baseball, etc.) I once watched a football game between UE-UST. But why is it that the Men's seniors basketball get to be televised at prime time. Boo. I think they only televise the Juniors basketball in the finals.

I have a Potipot review on draft. I'm still gathering infos I forgot from our trip last April, like the name of the resort in Candelaria Zambales. Hahaha AMNESIA!!!
